Room Makeover Ideas

Welcome back to the blog! We hope you clicked on this post because you are excited to learn about some new room decor and room inspo... because that’s what we will be talking about today. Recently, we have been watching lots of room makeover videos on youtube and have been wanting to change up our rooms a little. We have compiled some of our fav inspo from the internet into one post! Hope you love it.

Here are some photos of rooms we love. If you like this style keep reading for more ideas! And even if it’s not, maybe you will still get some ideas. :)

Section #1: Determining a Color Palette

To give your room a more cohesive, minimal look a distinct color palette is a great idea. To keep your room organized it’s best to have around 4-5 main colors in your scheme. You should try to keep all of the bigger things in your room in the theme (ex: walls, bedding, dresser.) Then, some of the smaller decor pieces can branch out of the main color shades. As you can see by the photos we’ve included, the colors we’ve been loving the most recently are white, light pink, sage green, pastel yellow, and pastel purple.

Section #2: Links to some super cute things to put in your room

Next, random things to put in your room. This is a list of things such as candles, mirrors, and other things to just make your room more personalized to your liking. All these things we think make plane spaces look so much more colorful and fun!

Section #3: Wall Art Ideas

A great way to spice up your room is by getting some new wall art! This could be a few larger prints, a photo wall with a bunch of photos, posters, and more! We have some really cute poster ideas here. Feel free to save them and put them on your photo wall or print them out at larger prints. We will be using some of these in our room soon! :)
