The Perfect Valentine's Day

Hey loves,

This is your inspiration for a perfect valentines day. We’re going to give you some ideas for things to do, what to wear, and what to eat. We are so excited to share these ideas with you and we hope that you all have the best Valentine’s day.

1.) Make chocolate strawberries

You can make them look so cute with different colored sprinkles, colored chocolate, and more. This is a classic for Valentine’s day and so yummy and sweet.

2.) Have a sweet treat filled picnic

You can find so many yummy valentines treats at your local grocery store. A picnic filled with them would be delicious and super cute, as well as fun. We especially love pink and red frosted sugar cookies and pink cupcakes.

3.) Make a cute minimalist cake

We are sure most of you have come across these adorable little cakes by now! They are so elegant and look so yummy. You could do a pink frosting with red and white designs… which would be so appropriate for Valentine’s day.

4.) Decorate your house

Decorations are probably the most festive way to ring in a holiday. Pink, red, and hearts define valentines decor, which we think is adorable! Here are some cute decorations we found:

5.) Make cute candy/treat bags for friends

To show love/appreciation to your friends you can make adorable gift bags filled with cookies or candy. You can find little bags to hold the treats at Target and fill them with super cute heart-shaped or pink candy which is also very easy to find.

6.) Dress up in Pink/Red

A festive outfit can surely encourage a wonderful valentine’s. You can sift through your closet for your cutest red or pink pieces, or if you’re looking for new clothes check out Lindsay’s blog post on what clothes to buy: What to Wear.

7.) Paint your Nails

Red and pink nails are soooo cute. You can do them yourself in a simple pattern (ex: stripes or solid colors), or you could try something more complicated like hearts (but you might need a friend or family member's help for that haha.)
